In my opinion, may believe it or not, the graphics card plays an important role in executing a game. You need at least for the GeForce 9600GT so can play the game Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 comfortably. I have a GeForce 9500GT and only getting 20-30 frames per seconds. The character movement became slow motion, like in the movie The Matrix. Does the processor have a role? True, but after the graphics card I think. Graphics card must also be viewed from many factors, such as memory and core clock speed.

Half Life 2 Great Graphics PC Game in 2004
Well, Many said like that, Half Life 2 is a PC game with best graphics quality in the year of 2004. I ever played it in 2005 and was very impressed with the quality of its graphics. Indeed been a long time but was still very decent to talk about I guess. Valve Corporation made this game using the spectacular engine and is the best in the field of First-person shooter genre. Unfortunately, it seems you should use Intel Pentium 4 with GeForce FX 5500 graphic card class at least for the minimum system requirements of this Half Life 2 PC Game. Its minimum of 512MB of memory and will be better if there is an internet connection at home to play multiplayer.
